The Chow Chow as an Agility Dog

There are two forms of Agility: Contact & Non-contact Agility.

The Chow Chow is known to be more competent in doing Contact Agility. Seen here in training are Paco & Pasquale - part of the Dendale Chow family (SA).

Not all Chow Chows are suited for agility & it is best to consult your veterinarian and an experienced agility trainer to assess your Chow Chow's individual abilities.

 

These two smooth Chows (left & below) are shown very capably negotiating the Agility Circuit! A sport which is fun and interactive - calling for a strong bond between Chow and owner.
